Lecturer Dr. Wojciech Opiola

Dr. Wojciech Opiola from the University of Opole is expected to be the third expert at the Broumov workshop. Dr. Opiola is a political scientist by academic background and researches borderlands and Silesia (as well as international relations). He is the author of the book “Hiszpańska wojna domowa w polskich dyskursach politycznych. Analiza publicystyky 1936-2015” (Opole: University of Opole, 2016), which was originally his dissertation. In 2020, together with Dr. Bartosz Czepil, he published the book “Ethnic Diversity and Local Governance Quality. The Case of Opole Province in Poland” (Berlin: Peter Lang Publishing, 2020). Dr. Opiola is expected to give a lecture on the borderlands and the situation in Silesia.
