Management and Public Administration

During the course, students will be introduced to the basic principles of the central and regional government. They will also be familiar with the basic methods of work in the public sector.

Topics: 1. State administration, local government, public administration. 2. Regional policy and regional development. 3. Fundamentals of communication – with the public, the media, etc. 4. Voice culture, rhetoric and realization of speech, nonverbal communication, psychological aspects. 5. Social protocol and social behavior. 6. Management and Marketing. 7. Administration and its associated problems. 8. Economic aspects – accounting, tax issues, the grant system, etc. 9. Ethics of and ethical principles in the public sector. 10. Criminal law – responsibility, authority, accountability general penalties. 11. Human Resources Management in Public Administration. Labor law issues.
