The course introduces the problems of ethnic minorities in the Czech Republic and EU. It is not limited to a simple list of characters and the ethnic diversity of minorities, but also familiarises one with the cultural identity of their sources. Also it notes the history of national minorities in Europe and in the Czech lands. It seeks to highlight the difficulties experienced by ethnocentrism and helps to understand the internal logic of the life of national minorities.

Anti-discrimination politics and other current issues.
