Cyber and Eco: Digital Technologies in Environmental Context

What are the interrelationships between the intensity of life in the captivity of technologies and everything we lose because of it? The lead author of the publication is the German psychiatrist Manfred Spitzer, the author of the bestsellers “Demencia Digital” and “Cyberdisease!”. A sociologist, Václav Bělohradský, focuses on the Internet and its effects on our hermeneutic competence, cryptotechnology expert Martin Leskovjan sums up an analysis of cyber decentralization and environmental challenges, sheep herder Jeremiáš Havranu presents a manifesto on postarchism, cyber-Shabbat and primitive-hacking. Jana Karlová examines changes in our homes and cities and a cultural anthropologist, Martin Soukup, and a geographer, Jan D. Bláha, summarize the consequences of the spread of digital technologies in Papua New Guinea. The book was introduced by the editor Zdenka Sokolíčková, epilogue is written by a natural scientist and priest, Marek Orko Vácha.
